West Georgia Jazz Festival

April 26, 2025

This free concert brings in some of the best jazz artists in the region to the stage of The MILL Amphitheater. (Reserved seating can be purchased.)

Summer Concert Series

June, July, and August

Groove to summer concerts presented monthly at The MILL Amphitheater. Enjoy the region’s performances by bands and musicians representing a variety of musical genres – pop, funk, rock and more. Free. All ages.

Thomas A. Dorsey Gospel Heritage Festival

June 28-29, 2025

Celebrate the Father of Gospel Music, Thomas A. Dorsey, at this annual two-day festival of jazz and blues in Dorsey’s home town. Gospel singers take the stage – named for Dorsey – at The MILL Amphitheater for free public performances. Food vendors are on site.

Gold Rush Festival & Parade

September 21, 2024

Join us in downtown Villa Rica and at The MILL Amphitheater for a fun-filled day, beginning with the Gold Rush 5K. The Gold Rush Parade will travel through downtown Villa Rica in the morning. Be ready to shop the 50+ arts and crafts vendors and grab a bite to eat from tasty food trucks. Enjoy shopping 50+ arts and crafts vendors and savor the flavors from a variety of food trucks.

Villa Rica Zombie Run 5K

Trick-or-Treat anyone? Please join us for our Annual Zombie Run 5K and Thrill at The MILL event at The MILL amphitheater! A DJ is on hand to get runners and spectators warmed up for the one-mile fun run and 5K run/walk. Thrill at The MILL includes a costume contest (ages 0-14), family activities and LOTS of candy for the kids!

This family event offers egg hunts for ALL ages, a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny, train rides and gold & gemstone panning, homemade ice cream, and more.

Jeep Show

May

The annual Jeep Show includes trophies, awards and prizes for Jeepers and their vehicles, a raffle, music, vendors, gold & gemstone panning, train rides, homemade ice cream, and more.

Honey Bee Day

June

Celebrating the honey bee, this free event has displays, demonstrations, meet and greet with bees, “Find the Queen,” Georgia honey tasting, homemade honey-infused ice cream and sweets! There also are train rides, music, gold and gemstone panning, and museum tours.

Ghost Train

October

All aboard for this spooky, yet exciting experience. Travel through several different horror scenes filled with angry and vengeful ghosts and ghouls that haunt the wooded hillsides of Pine Mountain Gold Museum. The early evening "Family Time" train is designed with younger riders and their families in mind and is much less frightening than the later, more terrifying Ghost Train’s main attraction. There is also a Haunted House on site. Tickets required.

Winter Wonderland

December

See more than 4 miles of lights with more than 52,000 individual points of light as you ride through the forest aboard the Pine Mountain Scenic Railroad. Tickets required for the train. Listen to music, shop for gifts, and treat yourself to delicious food.
